DLA to PIP reassessment was created by John Raymond
Some intesting statistics re DLA to PIP from the government re "slowing up "of DLA (indefinite award )reassessments.
Another member has pointed out that there were originally 3,000,000 DLA claimants in 2013.
To date only 1,021,000 have been processed! !!!
With a current drop of 44% in DLA to PIP reassements and with 2000,000 claimants left, there is a long long way to go before the rollout of PIP is completed.
I estimate an ETA of around 7 to 8 years from now!!
The official "500,000 claimants to be processed I find hard to belI eve.
Even if you take out the claimants who were 65 or over as of April 2013 there is now clearly a huge backlog with only one third of the total 3 million claimants processed in 4 years!!
The DWP random selection is not random at all as I have spoken to many already who have had to reapply and a clear pattern has emerged.
It would be very useful as B and W said in the newsletter of those who receive indefinite DLA to relate to the forum their circumstances so that we can establish a pattern to help those who feel they could be in line to receive the brown envelope soon
At pre warned can give chance to pre prepare as it were.
All that I have been saying over and over in this forum is turning out to be true despite being criticised and berated for my views
My sole motive is to help all those who need and deserve benefits to which they should be legally entitled to

Replied by Ben on topic DLA to PIP reassessment
I was wondering about that statistic as well. For if just over 1 million people have been migrated from DLA to PIP then i'd have thought significantly more than 500,000 would still be waiting to be migrated.
