Well eventually god my notification yesterday the 21st June. Been given the standard rate of mobility, but I've put in for reconsideration. The assessor basically wrote a pack of lies including that she'd seen me walk "10 meters with a normal pace and gait" that one on its own is a complete fabrication, I was in a wheelchair the whole time apart from when she insisted I stand and attempted to walk, I managed about 5 steps before she told me to stop. The lies these so called professionals tell is disgusting. Anyhow as I've written previously I had someone with me who's a nurse and also a expert witness, she made notes which show what happened. Should I use these notes as part of my reconsideration could someone tell me or wait for any appea?

There is absolutely no value in holding information back for an appeal, so if you think something is important then include it in the MR.

Remember a higher award can only be made by your showing that you meet the criteria for one, so whilst dealing with the issues in the report is important, doing so is unlikely to score you the points that you need.

Hi Coddie. I'm disgusted to hear how you've been treated but we seem to be the voice that is seldom listened to.
I got my award a few weeks ago and was also given the standard rate for my needs and nothing for mobility which is my main issue. Please bare in mind I'm currently in the highest DLA rates.
I made my mandatory reconsideration, including 7 pages of x-rays and scan results from 2 Chiropractors, a cover letter from one of them and 3 pages from myself. I phoned them earlier and they said no change in result and I have to await the letter. I therefore think you should do all you can but not get your hopes up to high.
