Motability & Appeal Tribunal was created by Dee
Motability are now finally terminating my contract with them after asking them for a reconsideration of the eextension of my motability car. I have been given up tp just the 29th to return the car They have refused to extend it . As least I should be grateful but I have several hospital appointments coming back. I sent my appeal with a submission and all letters sent to DWP. I asked for an oral hearing. I have received an acknowledgement that the appeal has been accepted my appeal and that they are awaiting for a response from DWP before setting a hearing date but I still have not heard anything from them. called and was told it will take about 16 to 17 weeks. I am getting very worried now. Please advise. I loose my car in two days time

I'm afraid there is nothing you can do about the car, the decision is Motability's.

Check with your GP surgery they should have a lost of voluntary organisations in your area, hopefully there will be a volunteer taxi service that can take you to your hospital appointments, you usually just pay for mileage and the driver will wait for you to be seen.

I would say at least 2-3 months from when you received the DWP submission.
