ESA PIP APPEAL was created by JohnH
Hello

I am trying to get some support with my current situation. I have an appeal through the appeals tribunal service pending regarding my PIP to DLA and the forms have been sent and I am awaiting a date for that appeal.

I have this morning received a capability for work questionnaire form which I need to complete. I am confused about why I am getting this form when there is already a PIP appeal ongoing. Will this not have conflict with the appeal?

I am trying to get information but I suffer anxiety at the moment about all this going on. I can read but am struggling to digest the information and feel that I am not getting anywhere and become more anxious.

Where do I start, what do I do and where is the support network when I need it?

Please try and give me some support with this matter

The ESA50 (Capability for Work) form is for an ESA claim, it has nothing to do with DLA or PIP or any appeal that you are making for PIP. PIP and ESA have different criteria even where the two appear to overlap.

To help you complete the form, have a look at our ESA Claim guides on the following link

If you have specific questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
