We now have significant delays in the PIP assessment process, currently we are seeing 12-16 weeks with some areas even longer.

Hi shellsbells, I sent my PIP review form back 4 weeks ago and this morning I got a text message saying that they had received it and I may have to attend a face to face, I don't know if this is just sent to everyone or that it is likely I will get a face to face. I live in Scotland so your waiting times may be different.

Hi Deana and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

Yes, the message you received is a generic one. I expect you will have quite a wait before you hear whether or not you will need a face2face.

If you have any specific questions about your PIP, please start another topic and we will do our best to help.
