What if you make mistakes with your claim?

I made some omissions on my 'How Your Disability Affect You' form. Then I made a mistake in my letter providing new info for a mandatory reconsideration. I couldn't find anything about this in the guides, so when I wrote my appeal I corrected the mistakes and apologised. I also said I'd made the mistakes because I hadn't had adequate help with the claim because my usual helper is ill.
My mistakes are trivial compared to the ones the DM and assessor made. I don't think the DWP can reasonably say that it's my fault that the award decision was incorrect.

The Tribunal looks at everything from scratch, as long as your explanation is credible then then I'm sure they will take the change into account.
