Pip process

Hi,
My pip award had a year left to run and after filling in the form was required to attend a face to face assessment which was approx 3 weeks ago.
Recieved a letter today saying that they had all the information they now need and there is no need to contact them and I will hear from them when a decision is made.
Is this the normal procedure.
