Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

It's impossible to know why you didn't score as you hoped without knowing a lot more.

Do you have a copy of the assessor's report? This would help you understand why you were scored as you were, rather than as you hoped/expected. DWP usually send these out on request.

Are you content with your award, or do you wish to take this further? You have one month from the date on the decision letter in which to request a Mandatory Reconsideration, which would be your next step.

I suggest you have a good look through our PIP guide so that you can really understand the criteria against which you were being assessed. This, in itself, might give you an idea of what went wrong.

May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your PIP without having to start a new topic each time. We ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one topic as it helps us enormously - and I hope you will find it useful too :)

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
