Strange Assessment

I have had to transfer from DLA to Pip. I was assaulted when on duty as a cop I have physical disabilities and chronic PTSD. Unfortunately I only found this site the day I had my assessment.

I found the assessment bizarre. The lady was nice and didn't want me to do any physical tests I just sat in my wheelchair that I only user intermittently. She read back all she recorded and she asked me numerous questions. She didn't record anything I hadn't put on the original form.

I now have to just wait. The only thing I can say is it is making me ill and I am terrified of the result. I don't know how I would have the strength or ability to appeal.

I just needed to say how I am feeling rather than ask a question, as I know I have to just wait for my next Brown envelope.

Mine took about 3 weeks after the assessment to come through. Despite having severe depression. PTSD , anxiety and a whole host of other things I was awarded nil points, I asked for a copy of the assessors notes, she had blatantly told lies on her form,
We sent in the mandatory notice to appeal their decision of nil points which also I have just had refused.

It's very exhausting for people with mental and brain injuries. Let's hope your outcome is better than mine. Good luck.
If you don't recieve anything in the post this week I'd be tempted to ring up and ask where it is.
