Dla stopped after missing the pip assesment ,

Hi, my dla was due to end 9 sept , my pip asessment was on mon 21 aug at 9 am but my daughter was sick all night and couldnt go with me and i cant go out ony own , so i called monday morn to let them know, then dla stoped my dla , can they do this to me , i have a motability car aswell , im sick with worry they have issued me a new assesment im waiting on the date , any advice please

It is normal protocol to allow claimants to rearrange an assessment once. Was the appointment you missed the first one or had you changed it once already?
