F2F assessment was created by Southernbelle80
Hi,
Is there anything I can do to avoid a f2f assessment, my anxiety has shot through the roof since I got my appointment date, can a Doctor write a letter or anything? Probably no, but I though I would ask anyway :)

A Paper Based Review can only be done if the assessor is satisfied that they have sufficient information to make a recommendation to the DWP without seeing you or there is evidence that a F2F will cause you significant physical or mental harm.

You may be able to get the appointment switched to a home assessment if you GP is willing to state that you cannot travel to the appointment

For a PBR they will have to state the risk of harm or try and provide additional information.
