Hi. I’m waiting on my review decision, it was due to end both high rates sep 2018. I sent in the form where u tick boxes only. I only ticked no change as nothing has. I sent back and they got the forms back 4th sep, But today i got a text saying thanks for sending us you how your disability effects you form.

Is that the same text they send out to everyone as not sure that was the form I filled in? And is it Just automated? Also when you get them where is it at in the chain and how much longer about? It’s alrwady been 6 weeks

Thank you

Yes, this is a standard text to acknowledge receipt of your form, although it does appear to be a bit late.

Thanks. So is getting that text so late strange! How long after these texts is it until the next dredded brown envelope or even white if it’s a assessment. Lol. Basically hate the post ever coming

Iv been waiting for 6 weeks. I rang up on the 6th sep and they said it had been received and scanned in on the 4th sep. then nothing until this random text. I dunno where at or what’s next to arrive.

If they do a paper based review does it take longer from hearing anything compared to when they get it and pass it on to get re assessed?

There were considerable delays in the PIP Assessment process a couple of months, with members reporting wait times of 12-16 weeks and in some cases more. We haven't had any recent feedback so it's possible that times have reduced but even if they have then it could easily be more than 8 weeks still.
