Case worker was created by wats49
My friend called up to see if they could get a copy of assessment and was told it would be posted.they said that his claim for now with a case worker and should here in 3 weeks.my question is ,is a case worker the decision maker

Did you phone the DWP rather than the Assessment Provider?

The current terms used by the DWP are Decision Maker and Claims Manager, it's p[possible that the person you spoke to meant the latter.
