14 calendar days to process and Mandatory Reconsid was created by MrsGizzard
Hi!
I wonder if anyone else has fallen foul of the 14 day rule for processing a Mandatory Reconsideration? I don't see much reference to it in the guides.
In my case, someone took my details and then passed it straight on for MR. WIth the result that the supporting documentation I built up over the ticking 14 days I wasn"t aware of, crossed the rejection letter. So now I'm looking at an appeal.
Anyone else had this?

Did you tell the DWP that you would be submitting more evidence?
If you did then you should have been given 28 days to make it available to them.
You can push for a second MR if they did not wait for you to send in your information, but given the low rate of revision at MR it may be quicker to go on to appeal.

Yes I did. Thank you for clarifying it. Several support staff just advised me to go straight to appeal. Nothing is going to change unless I push for it.
