Hi all! Well i had my face to face this thursday morning. The Doctor told me that she had all of my evidence ie, GP letter, Consultants letter etc etc. I have a number of ongoing conditions so the doctor said that we would start with my bowel problems first. She asked me a whole load of questions for about 45 mins. When she had concluded i expected her to go onto the next condition, but she just said mmm... that is quite severe and she never asked me anything else and said that i could go and that i would hear from the DWP in the future!!! I am totally confused and the more i think about what happened the more anxious i become!! Does this mean that she thought that my bowel condition was enough to cover the ESA requirements? Or she didnt believe me? Or what? If i lose some or all of my benefit can i appeal on the grounds that she never asked me about my other conditions?? I am shifting between thinking that it was a good thing to going back to losing my benefit!!! Any expert thoughts, info, anything else that might help me from swinging back and forth and getting myself wound up!!! Thanks in Advance
It's possible that they though that your continence problems were sufficient for an award, but their role is to assess all aspects of your health fro their report to the DWP.
I'm afraid you will have to wait for the Decision to see whether it is a problem or not, we would expect you to hear in 2-4 weeks.
