renal failure was created by khalid
Hi everybody
I hope you are fine.
My father struggles with renal failure as a result of inappropriate medication while undergoing surgery … he has filed a case to hold the hospital accountable and get a compensation.
Now he is on dialysis 4 times per day … the so called peritoneal dialysis.
It will be a long time before we get a verdict and our savings are already running low
My father is thinking seriously of claiming benefits to survive ….
Any stories or experiences of successful claimants who have struggled with renal failure to share?
Many thanks.

This is not an area that we deal with on the forum and whilst I hope that other members will comment about their experiences with dialysis, we are not a forum that has much interaction between it's members.

If your help with a claim for ESA, PIP or Attendance Allowance we can help, but if you have joined just for the medical information or the compensation claim, then you might want o contact the site owner for a refund.

Does he want to challenge the Decision?

Alternatively he can make a new claim as long as he is still under the age of 65.
