Hi

I just got my date for my assessment on the 27th. I asked for home visit as don't leave my house but guess they refused. I haven't slept or eaten anything since it arrived yesterday. My anxiety is through the roof and felt suicidal today. Can you please give me advice on what i need to say for them to understand how debilitating this is for me. Would you recommend I take my meds before I go as they make me so drowsy. Please please someone help

It's almost impossible to get a home assessment based on the claimants statements alone, you need your GP to write a letter for the Assessment Provider stating that you cannot attend at their office and why.

They ae trying to assess you as you normally are, so if you would normally take medication on that day the you should consider doing so.

Can you please link the questions that they are likely to ask as I can't find them under downloadable. I asked my gp and psychiatrist to write a letter but they told me that they don't do that
