Good evening,
I was wondering could some kind person please help with the following please - I currently work 16 hours a week. I’m on PIP standard rates for both awards until 2020. I get working tax credits & help with my rent and council tax. I don’t have any savings. Both of my PIP awards are at the standard rate. I’ve worked for my employer for 5 years. I’ve been told I’m losing my job due to my employers business is closing down. Redundancy will be nominal. I’m very worried as I will struggle to get a new job and pay my bills. Could someone please help me? I need to know what benefits I will receive while searching for a new job. I live in a full UC area. Thank you in advance.

I'm afraid this is not an area of benefits that we deal with.

I would get face to face advice, do an internet search for "welfare advice" with your postcode, town or county.

Failing that you can try putting your information in to one of the online benefit calculators

www.gov.uk/benefits-calculators

Thank you very much & apologies for the mix up. I’m not the best person when it comes to these things. Due to my mental health, I rely on my family. I had a face to face with a Citizen advice operative today, but was still confused. Thank you once again for your help.
