Changes to Pension Credit was created by kyberpast
Does anyone know what changes are coming up that will affect pensioners on Pension Credit, who are claiming for a younger partner on PIP? I read that those already claiming a top up pension credit will be able to keep it but from 2018 mixed age couples will not be able to get pension credit. Obviously I would like to know, as I am 70 and my state pension is insufficient to keep my husband (63) who gets PIP, and I get underlying carers' entitlement.

From what I can find, although the change is planned but there is no formal date for it to be implemented, the change requires the person still under State Retirement Age to claim Universal Credit and this is still not available in a lot of the country.
