Could anybody please advise my partner has been asked by DWP to complete and return PIP application as she is currently on DLA My query is she is currently appealing against withdrawal of esa as part of the paperwork from DWP there is a reply from a gp at her practice who she has never seen the form only outlines one of her conditions from several years ago and makes no mention of her severe ongoing issues which are the basis of the appeal we spoke to the practice who stated the dr in under no obligation to fully fill out the form with all issues unless the DWP ask them to do so Should we mention this on the pip form in case pip try to use it as part of their process clearly we have submitted all of our medical reports etc
The PIP and ESA departments are separate departments and I would not expect any evidence from their PIP claim to be made available to those assessing your partner's ESA claim, the PIP assessment report might, but even then it probably won't.
