Hi everyone I'm in the process of having to claim pip as DLA runs out in April 2018 .however filling out the form I can do and cope with f2f I'm worried about but my worry with filling out the form is everything I wrote sounds like its contradicts everything else ...I got DLA for ocd, depression, anxiety,IBS,however in the last 2 years been diagnosed with fibromyalgia an overactive bladder and borderline personality disorder I ask suffer with women's problems to but u see my ocd is constant washing ,bathing, fear of germs etc the fear forces me to get up and do my rituals however I have fibromyalgia which on days leaves me having to stay in bed because pain and fatigue is intense .I don't leave my flat for weeks at a time just walking from my bedroom to bathroom is intense pain. Trying to do housework leaves me exhausted and takes forever to complete simple task as I'm constantly having to stop to wash hands but also stop and rest even for a minute ..even after doing the washing up I have to sit or lay down the pain is crazy.but at the same time my compulsion has to be done too ...I need advice how do I write this all down without sounding contradictory.... Thankyou

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

Try and break the task down into smaller tasks, for example for the Preparing Food activity you can separate the preparation of the food from the cooking, you can even go even further if you want.

Then think of the problems that you would have with these tasks. So again as an example; due to your Fibromyalgia you might not be able to stand in the kitchen to do the preparation but you may also be effected by your OCD which means that you can only prepare the food in a particular way.

Remember you must be able to complete each activity reliably and on the majority of days not to score points. Also, you need to explain any aids that you use or indeed, why you cannot use them and what help someone else might provide you, even if you don't receive it.

There is a formula for answering the questions in the PIP Claim guide that you should think about using.
