Hello
I passed my ESA assesment in June this year without the need for a face to face..grilling-your help guide was a fantastic. I got my decision in mid July being put in the support group which I have been in ever since change to ESA from incapacity benfit ( previous assesment was 2014..again I passed on paper evidence only)....I got a shock today when another ESA50 form arrived.. Can I make a complaint ? is so who to ? I find it rididculos to put me in ths support group in July then send another form 6 months later.
Have other members of B&W had a simliar experience ? Have I a case for harrasement or are the letters sent out regardless of the time span....Can you please advise..many thanks

I'm sorry but you must complete the new form and there is no opportunity for a complaint.
All ESA awards can be reassessed after 3 months have elapsed from a previous Decision.
Whilst six months is on the short side for a reassessment it is not that unusual.
This is a full reassessment of your claim so you need to complete the form in detail as if it is a new claim and supply evidence as you can in support, even if it has been submitted before.

Thanks very much Gordon....I forgot to mention than in my previous awards I was placed in support group due to Long term (over 10 years) of Mental Health issuses including "active suicidal thoughts" I gave detailed info along with my CPN/ Psychiatrist supprt letter which I believe would be under " "exceptional circumstances".....should I point this out in this ESA form that a short 6 month re-assesement is causing me even more Mental distress ?...Thanks

I also suggest once you have gone thru this all again and when you receive your next award, that' if you are happy with the outcome, you then ask in writing how you were placed in the group and for how long. This will help you to be ready for the next onslaught

If your conditions have deteriorated then you should definitely mention this on your form.
Be aware, if you are trying to qualify again through the Substantial Risk Regulations then you will need to provide up to date information if at all possible, there is no on-going assumption that you continue to meet the criteria as there would be for a physical condition.
