I would just like to tell you about my success with DWP.
I was moved from Incapacity Benefit to ESA back in 2012, I wrote to them asking them to re-evaluate my claim from 2012, the upshot of this was I had to fill in a form for ESA Income Related-I lost my husband 3 years ago and nobody informed me I could get the extra benefit. Received yesterday £6682.27 in back payments to 21st October 2014. Note: By some ridiculous law they cannot pay for any period before this, easy way of getting out of paying for their mistake! If you are like me, please don't hesitate to claim, there is no medical involved.
