ESA assessment cancelled halfway through.

Just a note, this happened back in December, and I did mean to post about it at the time, but forgot.

Has there ever been reports of assessments being stopped halfway through due to the assessor realising they were not qualified to deal with what they were being told? This is what happened to me last month. I only raise it, as I have the rearranged WCA tomorrow, and a bit of me is concerned this could happened again....I know it probably won't but curious to see if it's prevalent. My support worker from Mind said it was a first for her.

The fact, despite being recorded, none of the 30mins can be used again was very frustrating (mild understatement) given what I had gone through in order to get there and some of the stuff I had to talk about. Plus Mind, due to cuts, are unable to provide anyone to accompany me on the new date (luckily a family friend is helping).

With all this in mind, should I have complained, or if tomorrow's WCA goes against me can I reference the aborted assessment in the MR/tribunal application?

On the plus side they did let me keep my copy of the cassette tape.... *sigh*
