Hi

My 9 year has been diagnosed with traits of asbergers. Is he entitled to pip or is it a different benefit for children?

I need all the advice I can get.

If he is under 16 then it would be Disability Living Allowance that you should claim for him, however, being diagnosed with traits of Asperger's does not mean that he qualifies for an award, a DLA claim will be based on his care and mobility needs in comparison to children of the same age!
