PIP Assessment

I have just had a PIP assessment on 12th Feb at Blackburn, even though my current PIP doesn't run out until December this year. My appointment was for 10.30 am, I had to get 2 buses in order to get to this appointment, which meant 65 minutes on the bus and 10 minute walk. Whilst on the bus the assessment centre rang to see if I could change the time of my appointment, I said I was already on the bus, she said we are running a bit late due to the snow. On arriving there the receptionist said there was a 40-45 minute wait as due to the snow some of the assessors couldn't get there, as they have to travel quite a distance. My 45 minutes came and went, another 45 minutes came and went. A man who had arrived at the same time as me had had enough after 90 minutes waiting. Finally after 2 hours and 5 minutes of waiting I was finally seen, the assessor said sorry for running a bit late. There was no facility to get a hot drink, they only had a cold water, why would I want cold water when I'm already freezing and it's bitterly cold outside. This meant by the time I got home I hadn't had a hot drink for nearly 7 hours, I was in that much pain I needed to take my oromorph and have several hot drinks to try and get warm and rehydrate myself. They had also changed the location for this assessment as my others had been up at the Hospital. It's ridiculous that they can treat people like this.
