ESA Assessment was created by Ness46
Hi all

I went to my ESA assessment yesterday. We arrived at 10.45am and were not seen for almost 2 hours (12.35). Then the assessment lasted only 10/15 minutes. The Doctor went through her questions so fast, I felt flustered and frustrated that I could not give a comprehensive answer. Only approximately 14 questions were asked.

Is this normal? Should I make a complaint to the DWP or should I just leave it until their decision is made? I would then have ammunition for any mandatory reconsideration.

It could be that the assessor felt that they had sufficient information to make a recommendation based on what they had before them and only needed to ask a few questions as a result.

I think you will have to wait for the Decision before you can decide whether to complain or not.
