Hello Mods, can you confirm that pip has to be filled out by hand, I have just been invited to apply
for this and I am sure I remember reading on the site that there is not an online version
thanks

There is allegedly a PDF version that claimants can type into but it is only available on special request, however, you don't need this, it is perfectly OK for you to type your answers and attach them as extra pages to the PIP2, just make sure that each page has your full name and NIN at the top and that they are numbered, we recommend "page X of Y" so that it is easy to see if pages are missing. Make sure you clearly mark on the form where your answers are and on the relevant page that you are answering question X.
Attach the pages to the back of the PIP2 using a staple or make a hole in the top left corner and use a treasury tag, string or ribbon to the form. The pages need to be easily detached so that they can be scanned by the DWP.

I have downloaded pip guide, not looking forward to this at all. Thank you again

Try and plan your workload, so first of all work out the questions that you are going to be providing a detailed answer for.
Start by just doing a simple answer for each one, maybe just a short paragraph, then when you are able go back and expand each one to a large para. then multiple paragraphs. That way you have answers for everything if you run out of time.
Remember you need to address you using aids or being unable to and help from another person to complete the activities. Lastly, don't lose track of the fact that you need to be able to do the activities reliably and on the majority of days.

Small tip from someone who has done this attaching pages thing. When you’ve got all the pages on a tag and put them in a window envelope, just make sure the address shows. I also had to tape the envelope to make sure it didn’t burst open with the numbers of pages and supporting evidence I sent. Good luck.
