Tribunal and sick notes was created by MissK
Im waiting for a tribunal date, I was in the support group for esa, contribution based, but now the dwp, keep asking me to send in sick notes I have sent one as asked which was for three months, they are are now asking for another one, or my payments will stop,
They are not paying me anything, and Ive got more than enough stamps for my pension, so why do I need to keep sending them.

Is it to prove to the tribunal that I am still unfit for work.

The other thing dwp said I may be eligible for job seekers if I wish to sign on and declare I am fit for work, but if Im fit for work why would I be going to the tribunal, and I cant work ,or is that just to catch me out,

The Fit Note is required to allow payment of the ESA Assessment rate while you wait for your hearing.

You say you are not being paid, why not?

They say I am not being paid because I have already spent 365 in the support group, or something which used up all my contibution based benefit

OK. You can only receive Contribution Based ESA for 365 days if you are not in the Support Group.

Have you checked whether you are eligible for Income Related ESA? ESA(IR) is dependant on your household income, your savings and assets, and any hours that your partner works. See

Asset and savings rule for ESA(IR)

24 hour work rule for ESA(IR)
