PIP f2f at 127 Hagley Rd, Birmingham - any info? was created by Emeep
Hello, I am in the process of applying for PIP, having received DLA for some years, and have received an appointment date for a face-to-face assessment with a Capita 'health professional' at 127 Hagley Rd, Birmingham B16 8LD.
If anyone has been to this place I'd be very grateful for information - specifically I'm concerned about whether the building/waiting room is noisy or busy; if there is a radio or TV on, or reading material around, or lots of people talking. Needless to say my health issues are mental ones.
I don't drive and am unable to use public transport, including taxis, and will be relying on being driven and accompanied to the appointment. From looking at google roadview it looks as though Broadway Plaza is the nearest public carpark - can anyone tell me if this is correct?
One more question: would it be worth starting and taking along a diary of everyday task/mobility issues, even though the appt is less than two weeks away? I didn't include one as contributory evidence with my application form and am not sure if it's too late now.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hopefully members will comment about the location.
Yes I would prepare a diary, there are templates that you can use in the PIP area.

You can park near the building a few yards from the door ,there are just a few seats only one person waiting ,when I visited there is a receptionist to ask your name and interduce you to the person who will be giving the assessment and there is a security man did not see a tv or reading materials and it was not busy hope that helps not as bad as I thought it would be good luck

Hi,
It is a white building on the hagley road near broad street. They have the number of the building on the main road. You drive into the building entrance and they have a under ground car park belonging to them. There is ramp access into the building. The corridor is not long with a reception desk at the front where you book in and told what room number to sit outside of. There are about 6/7 doors. I did not notice any tv or noise.
Hope this helps. Good luck
