Good morning and hello again you fantastic peeps.
Once again I need your invaluable help.
Just received ESA form to complete, been in support group for many years and last year went through the whole transferring to pip process and had a home medical , I requested a copy of the HP's report which was mostly accurate and reported unquestionable evidence to support my higher rate status .
So in a nutshell my question is, on reviewing the questions I am to complete for the ESA form , is it obvious to assume that I should ensure these responses all marry up? Were possible? As the ability to answer the same isn't always an option I've noticed?
Can or should I submit the PIP's hp's report as supporting evidence for my ESA claim? Or will this look churlish? You would think that these departments shared information, hence save time a n d money? .
Also I gathered much evidence last July from consultants and GP ( letters addressed to pip) so do I need to get new ones ? Can I also submit relevant portions of the PIP form that my doctor completed for me ??
All advice is greatly accepted and its great to be back

There are areas of crossover between ESA and PIP but even where there are the criteria is still different, so you need to make sure that any information you use from your PIP claim is relevant to the ESA Descriptors, this may require you to explain in your answers why it is.

Don't worry about hurting the Decision Makers or assessors feelings, they don't see you as anything more than a claimant that needs to be assessed.

Thanks for prompt response Gordon, so can I assume then that as long as I can justify the PIP hp's statements and the relevance of my GPS statements to the relevant ESA questions, I can be selective and include them as evidence and merely submit photocopy sections of either reports ? . Would you advise in trying to get anymore GP evidence? I can't see what more can be said ?. I am co concerned though that all my evidence is dated last July and beyond , does that matter? Although nothing has changed for myself since then . Appreciate your thoughts Gordon.

Would your GP be willing to write that your evidence from last year is still relevant to your conditions as they are?

Hi Gordon
Yes i believe she would , which is a very good idea, that way she saves time and i can submit both new and old . Is this what you would do Gordon?

Yes, that's what I am suggesting.
