Dreadful news

My ATOS health report has come back with nil points. THis is despite me filling the form in saying the help I need because of mental ill health and a full psychiatric report done 3 weeks before the face to face. The Psychiatist says in it that I am at 'serious risk of self neglect'. I also have diagnosis of bi polar, ADHD and social phobia. She says I am able to engage with people unaided despite all I told her & my diagnosis. She makes frequent reference to the fact that did not appear withdrawn or anxious at the interview. Do they think that people with mental health are all gibbering idiots ? I have fired off a letter to the DWP not going into a great amount of detail but basically saying that her approach is very flawed and shows no understanding of mental health issues . I cannot prepare a meal due to lack of concentration and anxiety, but she says I showed the ability to sequence and concentrate as I worked and drove a car 2 to 3 years ago.....well I dont now !! Similarly she lied about the little tests...I was quite OK with them, but she said I was able to fold the paper...she never gave me the paper. Similarly she says I could spell WORLD backwards. Thats the one thiong I cudnt do...said I would have to write it down to do it. She even said that she couldnt either and then writes this !! I will take it all the way. I am not daunted by the MR or TRibunal, but when you are up against such hostile and superficial findings ...do you really stand a chance ??
