Worried was created by marnie
I have severe mental illness which affects me badly especially with people, going out, voices and delusions. I have help with emails. I am on support ESA and both parts of PIP and have strong medical evidence from the clinic to back my claim and explain my problems.
This is probably due to paranoia but I think I am being watched. The only place I go is to the corner shop which is 10 mins. walk and I sometimes take the dog out around the back roads where I am unlikely to see anyone.
I have real severe difficulties and my CPN has told me I have nothing to worry about. But I still feel there is something wrong - although I cannot think of anything I’m doing wrong. Surely someone can leave the house now and then. What do you think ?
Thanks.
Marnie

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

It really quite unlikely that anybody is watching you but you do say in your post that you have problems with going out but also but then say that you do and apparently on your own, is there a risk that this is contradicting at least some of the reasons that you are receiving ESA and PIP?

I am on ESA support and PIP and I put on both forms that I sometimes go to the paper shop as it’s near to my house. Also my medical evidence explains something similar.
If I was being watched it would be through a malicious report and surely if after checking it is clear I’m not doing anything wrong DWP should leave me alone. Are some of these cases checked and the claimant doesn’t know? It’s just so unfair these people can meddle in your life when you’re clearly doing nothing wrong.
Thanks

It's very unlikely that anyone is investigating you, there are a huge number of ESA and PIP claimants and there are very few DWP investigators.
I would try not to worry about it.
