DLA to PIP & ESA renewal at the same time was created by LarryD

I have been on DLA and have been invited to apply for PIP. I completed the first stage on the phone on 3 May 2018. I was sent a text message on 4 May 2018 saying that I had been sent PIP2 and that I should allow 7 days to receive it.

It's now 13 May 2018 and I haven't received the PIP2. However I did receive an ESA 50 yesterday (I am on ESA).

It seems rather stressful and onerous to complete these daunting forms at the same time. Aren't these things staggered?

Chase the PIP department about the PIP2 if you have still not received it.

I'm afraid the ESA section and the PIP one are completely separate in the DWP and so receiving both forms at the same time can happen.
