PIP ASSESSMENT was created by Stewart
I have to attend PIP assessment on Friday. I do not think that I should of have to attend this as I have got DLA for 24 years. I also have submitted lots of information from my doctor and have asked for this evidence to be taken into account as well. Still I have the added stress of having to go to this.

However can I add some information what I had on the form as I think in some cases I could of added a bit more. In relation to incontinence can medication be termed as an aid. In relation to communication I forgot to add that my communication can be affected when I am very anxious and can be tearful.

O

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

If you don't attend then there is a good chance that you PIP claim will be closed so it is really important that you do.

Our PIP Claim guide has sections on the assessment and the questions you are likely to be asked,

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip

You can add more information at the assessment, make sure that the assessor knows it is a copy of the information and ask them to read it before they start the interview and to include the information in your file when it is returned to the DWP.

I would also send a copy to the DWP office dealing with your claim.

If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
