Extension to an extension on PIP Application

I have read here a few times about getting a 2 week extension to your PIP application if it's needed.
Well i'm on DLA and now moving to PIP application stage and knew full well i would need a normal 2 week extension due to problems mentally, on top of this i wanted CAB to look over my form to but the first appt i could get with CAB was some 7 days past when my form should have been in, and of course once CAB have gone over my form i suspect i will have to make further changes to the form and again this would take me some time due to my problem, so rang them the other day and first call handler could only give me a 2 week extension and told me if i wanted more tine it would have to be passed on to someone else who could deal with it, so put on hold for 5 mins and went through to the next team and i explained the issue with CAB and needing moretime myself to fill it in and straight off the bat he offered me another 3 weeks on top of the 2 weeks i had already been offered so an extra 5 weeks all in total.

Now i don't know if this is common knowldge but i had not read it here and hopefully this post will help others like me who are a bit slow for whatever reason that not to panic if you think you will run over just make sure you speak to them and fill them in on why you need it, hope it helps someone
