Just starting the DLA to PIP transfer. Looked through the information pack that comes with the form and unlike DLA it doesn’t ask about getting a letter/report done by friends or family who help with your care. Will it be worthwhile still including this sort of information for my PIP application?

Yes it will but understand that PIP does not look at your care needs, it is a functional assessment of your being able to complete a number of daily activities. See our PIP guide for more information.
