Hi
I have an assessment for E S A in a few weeks , and I have asked to have it recorded ,hopefully I will get it this time as the last time asked , they said yes that's fine , but when I got there ... no recorder !! , but just wanted to know if you think this is a good idea ? they way I look at it , it will stop them lying on the report , as this always seems to happen me ... ie .. you tell them you cannot do something , and on the report they tell you you can !! I mean what's the point of an assessment ? ? so I can only see this as a good thing ....but advise please ......Thank you .

I would always encourage members to have their assessment recorded if practical but I'm afraid doing so is unlikely to improve the quality of the information in the report..

Thanks for that Gordon , just wondered if you receive a copy of the recorded assessment ,if so do you normally get the copy on the same day as your assessment , or at a later date ?

You will get a copy of the tape or CD at the end of the assessment.
