pip

I have just been asked to apply for pip my up until now I have been on high rate dla for both I have mobility problems I am unsteady on my feet and have fallen quite often I experience pain due to arthritis I suffer from a non verbal learning disability that affects my perception co ordination and balance I struggle crossing roads as I caint judge distance of traffic

I also canit wash my lower body and under apron area of stomach and need cream applied as skin can become inflamed and breakdown I also caint wash my feet either and legs I am dreading having to go for an assessment I do have carers coming in and now waiting to be allocated a social worker to get more support I am terrified about the future and whole assessment process I have emotional unstable personality disorder and worried that the stress of having to go through re assessment could tip me over the edge as I do at times harm myself such as in stressful situations etc I am worried I will get asked trick questions about pets etc yes I have a dog but have support walking her from a dog walker and family why should one be peanlised for having pets they help with loneliness what do I say if they ask if I have pets my dog walker has written a letter of support I will be getting other letters of support from the following care agency vicar church member and my older sister who is 15 years older than me any support and advice will be grateful
