i had my PIP Assessment last week and was told that my F2F assessment was being passed on to some manager is this standard procedure?

they also told me that you can't send in medical evidence after a F2F but as I came home I phoned pip enquires and asked them and they said they could and they put something on my notes, am now waiting on medical back up from psycology but I did say on the phone it would be 2-3 weeks any longer I would phone.

Perhaps the assessor was still under training and their reports have to be audited by a senior assessor.

As you have found out, you can send in further evidence until a Decision is made, although doing so may delay that Decision if the Decision Maker has to refer it back to the assessor.

i have since received a text saying that they have received my report and will make decision wit 4 weeks, I did phone them up and ask about still sending in further in information, they have in my notes that I am sending in further medical evidence but as I can't give a time scale they can't put anything down but I did say I would phone when I was sending stuff it would be sent first recorded delivery. I did give psychology a phone and ask when they are sending stuff they did say they have to photocopy all my notes, they can't just send the stuff down I need as the psychologist I spoke is on holiday. they did say they have 30 days to send stuff out so when I receive stuff from psychology I have to photocopy stuff am sending in and do a covering letter and send it off but am acting quickly and doing it as soon as I receive it.

Send the evidence as soon as you can, it can easily take 10 days to get to the right person which will be included in the time that you have been given.
