DLA to PIP Claim was created by Yanmar36
Hi, I have just received my form to transfer from DLA to PIP. Will they use my previous DLA form from 2013 or my ESA information from last year for information to be used with my PIP claim. Also can I use my medical evidence from them along with my new evidence.?

Thankyou Sarah

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

If you have not made the initial call to start your PIP claim then you will be asked whether you want your DLA information included. They will not ask about your ESA.

Our recommendation is to include any evidence that you want to be considered with your PIP2, that way you can reference it in your answers to the questions on the form and can obviously ensure that the information is actually looked at by those assessing you.

Thanks for the quick reply. I made the call and have received the form now but was not asked about my last DLA form so will they use it regardless ?

No, you can try ringing again, they should have asked about your DLA.

I think I shall give phoning a miss as the main call was hard enough. I will just go on the basis that they may use it. There has been changes since then but I have a copy of the original form I filled in for it so I will go back over it.

Thankyou

They won't use it unless you have explicitly told them to do so!
