Hi I am the appointee and primary carer for my son. He is Autistic with many mental health issues. He was on Incapacity benefit from 2002 to 2012 and then transferred to ESA support group without F2F. A review was then done in 2015 and we attended a F2F. He was again placed in the support group. I have now received a further ESA50 review form. Does anybody know whether we'll have to attend a F2F again. It is so stressful for him. Thanks

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

I'm afraid it is impossible to say, it will primarily depend on the level of detail you provide in the ESA50 and how well it is supported by any evidence you have available. A secondary factor is whether a face to face assessment will cause unreasonable physical or mental harm to the claimant but you will need up to date medical evidence to support this.

Be aware that there have been changes to the DWP guidance since he was last assessed so make sure that you use the latest versions of our ESA Claim guides to help you complete the form.
