Last year the DWP announced that ESA claimants in the Support Group will no longer need to be reassessed if they 'have severe, lifelong disability, illness or health condition' and 'are unlikely to ever be able to move into work'.
I am in the ESA Support Group and meet the above criteria. But, I've been been sent the ESA50 form for reassessment. Do I still have to be reassessed?
If and it is a big "if", you are excused from further assessment, this cannot happen without a further assessment of your problems, so I'm afraid you must complete and return this ESA50.
You need to complete the form in detail and provide evidence as you can, even if it has been previously submitted. Refer to our ESA Claim guides for the criteria and latest DWP guidance.
