Hi received a local service compliance letter. District panic. Rang immediately the guy was so understanding that I was not coping. He told me someone anonymously had telephoned to say I shouldn't be getting benifits. From what he told me it could only be one person cos no one else knows what he told me. He said he was satisfied with what I had told him and wouldn't be taking it any further. The person who reported me is supposeadly my only friend and I think she may have done it out of jealousy iI now go out with her x boyfriend. She hates him. She is still nicy nicy with me. It's deplorable. Will she be notified no further action.
My question is can I trust him does he mean it. What happens to the anonamos complaint. Will it be kept on my record n possibly jepodise future claims like my appeal and new claim.
I have a new claim in forces a and pip. I am literally at the end with all this. It's making me I'll. Thanks

If he has said that he is not going to take the issue any further then I would take him at his word, it's very easy to check because if he was he would ask for more information and might even require you to attend an interview at your local JC+.

I can't remember the exact figure but something like 95% of the calls to the Fraud line are malicious, there's no reason to assume it will have any on-going or future impact on your benefits.

As far as I am aware the person making the report is not notified of the result.

Thank you thank you. I feel very hurt that my only friend I made at the gym and to my face is so kind giving me a hug when she sees me did this. I am gutted and just don't no how to deal with it. I'm scared of her.

Are you absolutely certain it was this person, could it have been a neighbour? What about someone else you know? Is it possible that your friend has unwittingly passed on information to someone else and it is they who phoned?

I've just noticed that you said the report was anonymous in which case the DWP definitely won't be getting back to them
