i have transferred to pip from dla. i was on indefinate dla. i have a condition that will not get better with time . have been given enhanced daily living and low mobility although i got 10 points. it is until february 2021 . less than 3 years. i would like to know if i can appeal the length of time it is as just cannot go through this again. if i appeal will my pip stop until a decision is made? could they possibly change what i have been awarded now?
First of all understand that all PIP awards involve a future assessment, even an On-Going one.
You can challenge the length of the award, it is part of the Decision but we have not seen much success at the MR stage and you should be prepared to go on to appeal.
Your current award remains in place unless revised.
