Hello, I am in receipt of ESA currently and my son was wanting to take a year out of university to work full-time and get some money in his bank. He is thinking about applying for Universal Credit as Jobseekers Allowance has been replaced by this ‘new style’ after applying for the credit.
Will his application for Universal Credit effect any of my ESA earnings or will his benefits be independent to mine, other than household income?
