miss understood question was created by marie
hi just joined this site hi to everyone,ill try make this a s short as I can.my husband suffers from ocd depression and anxiety he had been on dla for over 10 years endefinate high rate care middle rate mobility so moved over to pip, anyway the assosors report was a bit false in places so we ended up with lower rate care 11 points and no mobility at all, I then did a mandatory reconsideration with 3 lots of letters from doctor phychiatrist and phychologist got result back no movement on care still 1 point off but now got full mobility which is right for mobility cause hubby wont go out alone, the problem is the care part just because my hubby reads science fiction books I think doesn't mean he can read a complex letter there are no combacks reading a book its not real where letters throught he post eg statements ect is totally different , also they have said he can cook a simple meal even though I told them he can spend 3 days in his room and refuse proper food and eat junk like crisps unless I cook for him. the biggest question I have is clarification of the part MANAGING TREATMENTS I took this as just putting his tablets in a dosset box and giving to him when required it gave the amount of hours in the week and didn't understand this so left blank so only got 1 point BUT should this include the time it takes for me to help him come down from panic attacks using his breathing techniques and also trips to see his 3 lots of doctors, also the constant reassurance which they new about, I was hoping if I reworded these parts and send to courts would dwp contact me with a counter offer before going to court because I really don't think my husband would be up to it,or if he did with me being his spokes person would we stand any chance or even lose the lot.. thanks all love VERY STRESSED OUT WIFEY

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
I would start by having a look at our PIP Claim guide which has details of the legally defined criteria that your husband needs to meet.
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip
There are a number of legal definitions that you need to be aware of
“Manage therapy” means undertake therapy, where a failure to do so is likely to result in a deterioration in your health.
“Therapy” means therapy to be undertaken at home which is prescribed or recommended by a—
(a) registered –
(i) doctor;
(ii) nurse; or
(iii) pharmacist; or
(b) health professional regulated by the Health Professions Council,
but does not include taking or applying, or otherwise receiving or administering, medication (whether orally, topically or by any other means), or any action which falls within the definition of “monitor a health condition”.
I'm not sure that the things that you mention in your post meet these criteria at first glance.
