The Law Society was created by terdun9
Hi there I have been waiting for my Appeal now for 54 weeks, back in July this year I was told to try The Law Society,
I phoned them up told them all about what's going on and the time span they told me that when term time comes round they will be in contact with me Well today I got a call from them asking me if I had had my appeal yet well I have not and they were very surprised that I hadn't so after I short call the lady said they would phone me next week sometime.
So I am hoping that one of them will be able to come to the appeal with me
Now I am wondering if any of you have had any dealings with the Law Society. and also is there anyone still waiting for the appeal date some 16 months later, this all started in March 2017.

Hi Jacqui. I hope you haven't already had a few words from me but my cat Milly was licking the screen when I was on the phone and she might have sent it before I was ready! Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I too had been waiting although nowhere near as long as you. I had the face to face in July last year and after waiting for the decision, the mandatory review and then the negative answer to that, I had my tribunal today and won my case. It has been 55 weeks from their original decision date. I hope you get your tribunal date very soon; fingers crossed.

And it is 56 weeks the paperwork got to the court's tribunals have had my case with them I beginning to lose all hope of ever getting it seen, and then the worry about the day also.
I just hope it is soon as all I want it for it to be all together.

Hi again Jacqui. I mislead you as I didn't involve the Law Society. I did ring the HMCTS and was told that the waiting list was so many weeks, I don't remember how many, but I received the court date at more or less when the clerk told me to expect it. Have you rung the HMCTS and asked them where you are on the list? They were quite helpful when I rang. I think it might also depend on where in the country you are as some city courts are bound to be busier than the more rural ones. My case was at Boston in Lincolnshire. Give them a ring; it might help ease you mind and assure you that you haven't been forgotten.
