Hi I have been requested for a face 2 Face I have quite a few different things going on that makes it almost impossible to go to something like this . So my husband rang and asked advice they said to get a letter from GP and they changed the date of my assessment to give time for GP to write one and send off , Did this at a cost of £20 . Sent me another letter declined why they don’t say what other evidence can I give apart from if you force me I’m more than likely be pushed over the edge and I have a heart condition as well which I’m I’m frightened anxious stressed can put me in a lot of pain result I end up in hospital Ambulance have to come and take me under the blues and twos . I’m terrified help

I've moved your post to its own topic, you replied to a post from over two years ago!

What does the GP letter say? Does it use phrases such as "could have problems", "may be unable to attend"? If it does then the lack of certainty will have undermined the letter, you need one that is unambiguous in stating that you cannot attend at the Assessment Providers offices.

i asked for a home assessment, and my doctor wrote things like would cause me major mental disress and overwhelming panic is i would have to attend a face to face and as i had already had a PIP asessment at home could i please have the same for ESA.

I was lucky and they actually cancelled the face to face altogether and did a paper based assessment, but if applicable your doctors letter needs to state in certain terms how hard it will be for for if they are vague in anyway they will probably refuse a home visit..

thats been my experience
