I would try and get them to read any medical letters before they do the medical.

The problem is dealing with doctors is a double edge sword, trying to give advice to a doctor is hard they dont want it in most cases so letters before could wind them up, but if done right it can help

Get your doctor if on good terms to write a short letter saying whats wrong and if he is a good egg get him ask the doctor doing the medical for advice on how to help you with your problems play to the ego
